Salary:

$6,346 – $8,487/Monthly*

Description:

This position will work with all units in Risk Management and will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the County’s Risk Management Information System (RMIS) design and implementation. Typical duties include performing risk assessments; making loss control recommendations to County departments; dealing effectively with claimants, employees, and other agencies; and reviewing, researching, and producing responses to Public Record Act requests.

The current position may be filled at either the Risk Management I or II level. If you are interested in applying at either level, you will need to apply to the separate, concurrent recruitment being conducted for that level.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• The ability to analyze data, generate insights, conceptualize solutions, and present findings
• The ability to learn new technical skills, systems, or software products to meet continually changing business or technology needs
• Experience working collaboratively with customers and information system professionals to ensure all parties understand important information such as system needs, requirements, and constraints
• The ability to communicate complex ideas, both written and verbal, to a variety of audiences
• Strong MS Office skills with expert knowledge of Excel – including graphs, pivot tables, and formula
