Salary:

$61,81989 – $75,142.44/annually

Description:

Under general direction, to supervise, assign, coordinate, and review the work of staff responsible for road maintenance, repair, and construction within an assigned area of the County or a Countywide bridge or work crew; to direct snow removal work; to perform highly skilled heavy road and bridge construction and maintenance equipment operation; and to do related work as required.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to experience and training that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities would be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills, and abilities would be: Experience: Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in road or bridge maintenance and construction work, preferably including at least one year in a lead or supervisory position. Training: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. License or Certificate: Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid Class “A” California Driver’s License with endorsements for tankers and doubles issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles. Some positions may also require the endorsement for hazardous materials.
