Salary:

$28.38 – $34.50 hr.

Description:

Under administrative direction, oversees, trains, coordinates, and participates in the most complex and difficult work of appraisal staff; manages multiple sensitive and complex projects; provides supervision and mentoring to professional appraisal staff; provides responsible administrative and technical staff assistance to the Chief Appraiser; and performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be:

Possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of responsible journey level experience in appraisal work performing duties similar to an Appraiser III in Calaveras County. Must have a valid Appraiser’s Certificate issued by the California State Board of Equalization. Advanced coursework covering the Income Approach to Value, the Valuation of Restricted Lands, and Possessory Interests is desirable.
