Description:

Placer County is currently accepting applications for the position of Clerk/Recorder/Elections Senior Supervisor. The employees of the Placer County Clerk-Recorder-Elections Office work as a team, to foster an environment of loyalty and respect for each other. With the Placer County Clerk-Recorder-Election’s Office, you will be given the opportunity to build on your knowledge and skills and share ideas and information! Bilingual incentive: incumbents may be eligible for bilingual incentive pay depending upon operational needs and certification of proficiency. This classification received a general wage increase of 4% effective 7/2/22 and is scheduled to receive subsequent general wage increases of 4% in July 2023 and 4% in July 2024.

Qualifications:

Experience: Five years of increasingly responsible clerk, recording or elections experience, including two years of supervisory experience comparable to a Clerk/Recorder/Elections Supervisor with Placer County. Training: Equivalent to an Associate degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, public administration or a related field. NOTE: Relevant, equivalent experience (performing the same or similar job requiring similar knowledge, skills, and abilities) may be substituted for the required education as determined by the Human Resources Department.
