Salary range: $55,413.00 – $87,378.00

Description:

The Auditor-Controller’s Office (ACO) is seeking to fill multiple Senior Internal Auditor positions within their Internal Audits Division located in Riverside. Incumbents will possess strong interpersonal skills to conduct operation, compliance, and financial audits of County Departments. This position requires strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team environment. Senior Internal Auditors will perform the entire audit process from researching industry standards to presenting reports with recommendations to the auditees. Additionally, he/she will act as a lead on each project, which includes training Internal Auditors and assigning project tasks.

Qualifications:

OPTION
I: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a specialization in auditing or accounting
II: Valid certificate as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
III: Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
IV: Valid certificate as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
V: Valid certificate as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
ALL OPTIONS: 2 years of professional auditing experience which demonstrates possession of the knowledge and abilities listed on full job posting.
