Description:

The Placer County Office of Emergency Services is seeking a seasoned professional who enjoys working on a team in a fast-paced environment. This position will be responsible for developing county-wide emergency plans and a robust training and exercise program. The position requires the ability to manage multiple projects, synthesize federal and state guidance, establish positive relationships with various cooperating agencies and organizations, remain calm and focused during emergencies, and have exceptional analytical and writing skills. Placer County is a terrific organization to work for and the region is absolutely beautiful. Qualifications:

Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be: Experience: Three years of increasingly responsible work experience conducting detailed analysis requiring the preparation and submission of findings with recommendations, including one year at the Journey level. Training: Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public or business administration, government, political or social science or a related field.
