$3,417-$4,667 monthly

Description:

The primary responsibility of a Property Technician is to receive, catalog, store, maintain, control, release, and/or destroy property, evidence, or other items that have been recovered.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
• Maintains files and chain-of-evidence records regarding property and its disposition;
• Contacts or responds to questions from law enforcement personnel, attorneys, representatives of various agencies and the public concerning the release, location and disposition of property and evidence.

Qualifications:

EXAMPLES OF EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Equivalent to graduation from high school; and one year of experience performing inventory and record keeping duties.

Conditions of employment include, but are not limited to:
Required Conditions of Employment: Successfully pass a thorough background/suitability process, which includes a polygraph examination or a voice stress analysis; Possess a valid California Class C Driver’s License, at time of hire, and maintain a satisfactory driving record; Provide a telephone number or means by which employee can be reached.
