$4,181 – $5,082 Monthly

Description:

The Solid Waste Enforcement Officer is responsible to plan, organize, and implement the City’s Solid Waste Enforcement Programs; develop and submit grant applications, and administer grant-funded collection and abatement programs; implement public education programs; investigate and enforce applicable ordinances, regulations, and codes related to solid waste and hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

Experience:
One year of related experience involving the application of municipal codes in an enforcement, inspection and/or public education capacity.

Training:
Completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by college level coursework.

License or Certificate:
Possession of valid class C California Driver’s License by date of appointment with a satisfactory driving record. Possession of POST approved Penal Code 832 Certificate required by end of probationary period.
