$38.49 – $53.07 Hourly

Description:

The Special Districts Department, Project Management Division has a rare opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager for high-value and complex construction projects needing hands-on oversight of improvements, upgrades, and new construction of related road, water and wastewater systems and facilities.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in engineering or construction management, or closely related field.
—AND—
Experience: Four (4) years of professional experience with responsibility for managing medium-large capital improvement projects, and which involved design, procurement and construction of infrastructure facilities/buildings/equipment.

Substitution: Two additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement, with 30 semester (45 quarter) units of coursework directly related to engineering, or construction management;
OR
Four additional years of directly related experience may substitute for the education requirement.

An equivalent combination of the above may be considered.
