The County of Stanislaus, Community Services Agency invites applications from qualified candidates for a Program Manager IV to fill two (2) vacancies in the StanWORKs Division. About the Position: Perform complex administrative work in planning, organizing and directing the activities of staff, managing projects and operations in compliance with Federal and State regulations, and budgets. The incumbent works directly for the StanWORKs Assistant Director and with Managers in the administration of public assistance programs and program integrity. The ideal candidate is an experienced senior manager with a strong background administering multiple public assistance programs. The incumbent will also supervise the work of employees engaged in providing eligibility, employment and social services, as well as general support services.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public or Business Administration, Social Work, Counseling, Social Sciences or closely related field; AND Two years experience as a Manager III; OR Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience at management level in a large public sector organization performing work in social service program management, applying and interpreting State and Federal regulations and law including budget preparation, contract administration, project management and program planning and evaluation
