Description:

Alameda County Public Works Agency seeks dedicated and talented individuals for our exciting position of Supervising Public Works Inspector. The Supervising Public Works Inspector is responsible for the supervision of field inspectors of all the major road and flood maintenance and construction projects to assure contract compliance. Qualifications:

I
Experience:
Two years experience as a Building Inspector II in Alameda County’s classified service.

Or II
Five years’ journeyman construction experience including four years recent full-time experience as an inspector in a public building inspection department with Two years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.

Or III
Six years’ experience as a building/construction inspector for a public agency or department with three years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.

Education:
An associate of arts degree in engineering technology, building inspection or a related field, may be substituted for one year of nonsupervisory work experience.

License:
Valid California Drivers license
