$47,568 – $76,894.71 Annually, plus benefits

Description:

The Survey Technician II,III,IV operates instruments and computers to perform technical surveying activities of average (II) to above average (III) difficulty. Additionally, the Survey Technician IV may act as Chief Party and supervise a survey crew; and performs related duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in land surveying, either field work, office work or both. This candidate is familiar with various types of surveying equipment, and familiar with computer programs (MS Office Suite, AutoCAD CIVIL 3D, GIS software, or processing/adjustment software such as Leica, Geo Office, StarNet, etc.).

Qualifications:

Any combination of education and experience that would like produce the required knowledge, skills and abilities. An example of qualifying education/experience is as follows.

Survey Technician II: Considerable experience in land surveying, which has led to the acquisition of the required knowledge, skills and abilities. The required knowledge skills and abilities can be obtained by at least three (3) years of surveying and/or mapping experience.
