Salary:

Engineer III – $2,662.08 – $3,999.53/Engineer IV – $2,956.36 - $4,429.93

Description:

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and organized engineer with knowledge of traffic engineering with the ability to apply this knowledge to provide public works services. The successful candidate should have experience leading an engineer team and technical personnel, including monitoring scheduled work, assisting with setting priorities, design and construction of traffic signals or intersection improvements.

Qualifications:

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS •Possession and maintenance of a valid California driver license are required.
•Registration as a Civil Engineer in California is required for Engineer IV
•Experience in traffic control device warrant analysis and data analysis, with familiarity in MUTCD Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices
•Experience in reviewing traffic control devices and traffic control plans
