$39.77 – $49.67/hour; $6,893.47 – $8,609.47/month; $82,721.60 - $103,313.60/year

Description:

With locations ranging from Roseville, CA to Lake Tahoe, CA, the Senior Transportation Systems Supervisor is responsible for overseeing transit operations provided to Placer County. These services are provided utilizing a combination of direct operated services with County employed bus drivers and purchased transportation services. The ideal candidate will have leadership and supervision experience, a good working knowledge of transit operations, contemporary office software and on-board transit equipment and technology.

Qualifications:

Experience: Five years of increasingly responsible experience in transportation system planning or management, including two years of supervisory responsibility.

Training: Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in transportation management, public or business administration or a related field.

NOTE: Applicants receiving their degree outside the United States must submit proof of accreditation by a recognized evaluation agency.
