CARE Act Updates: New Data and Reporting Guidelines Released, Ad Hoc Groups to Meet This Month

Last week, the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) released a new Behavioral Health Information Notice (BHIN) related to data and reporting guidelines for implementing the Community Assistance, Recovery, and Empowerment (CARE) Act. The BHIN provides guidance to counties on the data reporting requirements to monitor the performance of the CARE Act model using standards set forth in the CARE Act Data Dictionary. Additional resources and materials will continue to be made available on the CARE Act Resource Center webpage as they are released.
