CSAC Legislative Conference Room Block Extended through April 5!

The California State Association of Counties (CSAC) has extended the April 20 -21 Legislative Conference room block through April 5. CSAC has negotiated a special room rate for Conference attendees, making it that much easier to take advantage of this opportunity to hear from state leaders with the latest news on policy, legislative priorities, and more!

The Association will present an impressive lineup of speakers and presenters, including Governor Newsom (invited), Attorney General Rob Bonta, members of the Legislature, and executive and senior staff from state agencies. This is a great opportunity to engage and participate directly in the decision-making process that affects our communities and residents.

The Conference includes workshops on CalAIM and cannabis, two crosscutting issues that impact every California county and community. The CalAIM workshop will delve into the impacts of the state’s new initiative and how it will affect county budgets. The cannabis workshop will examine the growing challenges around the passage of Proposition 64, including regulating the legal and illegal market, and convene state and local regulators to discuss the issues and opportunities counties face.

Visit CSAC’s Member Portal online to reserve a special rate hotel room, register and view program descriptions, and other information. Online registration will remain open until April 9.
