supports is an important component of implementing California
Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM), supporting
whole-person care for Medi-Cal members with the most complex
medical and health-related social needs, with the goal of
providing a more person-centered approach to delivering health
care to California’s most vulnerable residents.

According to the report, in the first 18 months, nearly 141,000
Medi-Cal MCP members across the state received the ECM benefit
and about 76,000 members received close to 168,000 Community
Supports services. DHCS will update this report each quarter and
anticipates publishing data from Quarter 3 by March 2024.
