The California Health and Human Services Agency (CalHHS), in
collaboration with the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS)
and the Judicial Council of California (JC), will be hosting the
next CARE Act Working Group meeting on Wednesday,
November 8 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. The purpose of the
Working Group is to provide coordination and support
collaboration among state and local partners and other
stakeholders to support the successful implementation of the CARE

CARE Act Services & Supports Ad Hoc Group
The Services & Supports Ad Hoc Group, which is one of three CARE
Act Ad Hoc Groups, will meet for the first time on
Tuesday, October 31 from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
The purpose of this group is to discuss relevant guidelines,
research and consensus documents which define the standard of
care for individuals with severe schizophrenia spectrum disorders
who are at high risk for homelessness, incarceration, morbidity,
