The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) invests $369 billion in climate
and energy, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 40
percent below 2005 levels by 2030. It establishes new programs
that provide direct funding opportunities for counties to engage
in clean energy and climate projects and provides funds for range
of issues including air pollution, energy efficiency and carbon
emissions.
