A critical member of the Administrative Services Finance Team, this position is responsible for reconciling and recording of Human Services Departmental revenues. Assigned duties require considerable independent judgment and discretion, and may include:

• Managing the Departmental capital asset portfolio
• Budgeting, forecasting, and analytics for Economic Assistance, the Office of the Director, and Administrative Services - Finance
• Providing guidance for Accounting Policies and Procedures
• Supervising 3 Senior Account Clerk direct reports

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Experience preparing a variety of accounting, statistical, budget, and financial reports
• The ability to perform complex accounting activities
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Experience leading technical and clerical accounting staff
• The ability to coordinate department accounting needs with a diverse group of leaders
