The County of Placer is seeking a highly skilled professional for the position of Fiscal Manager in the Sheriff’s Office. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing the day-to-day activities and developing department wide policies pertaining to all fiscal, budget, contracts, Board of Supervisor Memoranda, grants, payroll, accounting, leave management issues; developing the department budget, including forecasting, review/analysis, implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
As part of the Command staff for the department, the incumbent works closely with and may represent the Sheriff and Undersheriff in developing and/or furthering legislation, programs, and projects which promote the interests of both the Sheriff’s Department and the County.
