Description:

San Joaquin County’s Human Services Agency is seeking a multi-talented individual who is passionate about coordinating and advocating for seniors in the community. The Aging Programs Coordinator works with government agencies, non-profit organizations and the senior community to deliver services that improve the lives of seniors in the community.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in social services, public health, public or business administration or related field.

Experience: Two years of responsible experience in program planning, program administration, contract management, or social casework and counseling in a social service agency providing services to adults, the elderly, or economically disadvantaged.

Substitution: Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the education on a year-to-year basis; a master’s degree in the qualifying fields may be substituted for one year of the experience.

License: Possession of a valid California driver’s license.
