Description:

The County culture is collaborative, supportive and very energetic at all levels of the organization. This particular position is extremely visible due to involvement with every County department in the delivery of services provided by General Services. From working with staff in other departments, anticipating and meeting the diverse needs of the various County Department Heads and the occasional Board Presentation, the General Services Assistant Director is involved in much of the County’s business.

Qualifications:

Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be: Successful completion of the requirements for a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of supervisory or management experience in General Services, or a related field such as public works, architecture, engineering or construction management is required. Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in General Services operation or performing administrative, management, personnel or fiscal analysis is desired.
