$145,704 – $195,270 annually, DOQ

Description:

The new Assistant Director for the Health Services Agency will have an excellent opportunity to positively impact both the organization and community in this multifaceted role. The Assistant Director reports to the Agency Director and as part of a new organizational structure, will oversee the divisions of Behavioral Health, Public Health, Environmental Health, and the FQHC’s that collectively include 435 of the Agency’s employees. The Assistant Director will work closely with the Director in developing and implementing a comprehensive Strategic Plan for the Agency. The new Assistant Director will be an active, engaged and progressive leader that operates in a collaborative, team oriented and relationship based fashion.

Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business/public administration, hospital/health care or public health administration or a closely related field and at least four years of extensive budgetary, administrative and management experience. Desired qualifications include a graduate degree in a health related field; a clinical background along with possession of related licenses and/or certifications; and experience within a governmental agency.
