Description:

The County of San Diego, Health & Human Services Agency (HHSA), Housing and Community Development Services (HCDS), invites resumes from dynamic, experienced, and highly motivated individuals to serve as Assistant Director, Housing and Community Development (HCD). Under the administrative direction of the Director, HCDS, this executive management position will lead and direct in the management of public and subsidized housing as well as the management of community development projects through planning, direct service, and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university or a certified foreign studies equivalency AND five years of management level experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the classification. Experience must include at least one year of supervision.

A master’s degree or higher degree may substitute for a total of one year of experience and cannot be applied to the required one year of supervision.
