$9,599.58 – $10,584.42 Monthly
Description:
There is an additional 3.35% Management Differential which is
added to the posted salary for this class.
Under general direction, the Assistant Tax Collector plans,
organizes and directs the billing and collection of secured,
unsecured, supplemental and transient occupancy taxes and the
issuance and control of business and other licenses and permits
within the jurisdiction of the Director of Finance (formerly the
County Treasurer-Tax Collector).
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university
with a Bachelor Degree or higher in accounting, economics,
finance, business administration, public administration or a
closely related field.
AND
One year of supervisory or managerial experience in the operation
of a tax and/or revenue program involving the assessment, billing
or collection of property taxes.
Note: The word “experience” referenced in the minimum
qualifications means full-time paid experience unless the job
announcement states that volunteer experience is acceptable.
Part-time paid experience may be accumulated and pro-rated to
meet the total experience requirements.
