Description:

This is a supervisory classification functioning as a system of care program manager within the Department of Behavioral Health, with responsibility for a major Behavioral Health program area such as Children’s Services, Adult Services or Mental Health Services Act (MHSA). Incumbents supervise and coordinate direct service delivery. This class is distinguished from the Behavioral Health Program Manager by the complexity of multiple programmatic and budgetary responsibilities of the latter. It is further distinguished from Behavioral Health Program Clinician class series by the clinical administrative supervisory and/or clinical coordination responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree from an accredited university in psychology, counseling, psychiatric social work, nursing or a related behavioral science and three years of progressively responsible experience as a clinician in a relevant behavioral health and/or alcohol/drug program and at least one year of lead experience or three years of experience equivalent to a Clinician III with the County of Tuolumne.

Possession of a valid California LCSW, MFT, LPCC, RN or Clinical Psychologist license.

A valid California Driver’s License by time of appointment.
