$34,881.60 – $42,390.40 Annually

Description:

The current vacancy is in Ukiah. The list developed from this recruitment will be used for a limited period to fill open and promotional, regular full-time, and part-time positions in a variety of departments, service areas, and locations throughout the County, should they occur.

Incumbents in this class perform skilled and semi-skilled labor in the area of bridge construction, maintenance and repairs. Under general supervision, constructs, repairs, maintains and inspects bridges, box culverts and cattle guards and the immediate surroundings on all County-maintained roads. Work is performed within a framework of well-defined policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or GED; and, two (2) to four (4) years of progressively responsible related experience performing duties such as bridge construction and maintenance, building concrete forms, general building construction and/or metal fabrication and welding; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Valid California Driver’s License
Valid California Class B Driver’s License within 6 months of hire
