Description:

San Joaquin County is seeking an experienced child support professional to serve as Child Support Program Manager. The Department of Child Support Services is responsible for collecting, disbursing, and accounting for child support payments under the Title IV-D Child Support Enforcement Program.

The Child Support Program Manager will be responsible for managing a main program function and directing child support supervisors, officers and support staff as well as departmental outreach activities. Additional responsibilities may include ongoing site management of a federal grant. Well-qualified candidates will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and are expected to model strong work ethics, integrity and leadership skills.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications include four years of full-time experience in a California Child Support Department, gathering and analyzing information to enforce child support cases, including one year that must have been in a supervisory capacity; OR one year of full-time experience as a Child Support Supervisor in San Joaquin County; OR two years of full-time experience as a Compliance Analyst in San Joaquin County.
