Appointed by a City Council known for its stability, the new City Manager will embrace the values and strategic plan of the organization, oversee a staff of 184 and 2015/16 proposed total budget of $234.5M, and bring an entrepreneurial approach in leading Palmdale to the next level. Proven local government experience with an emphasis in economic development and strong fiscal management are desired. A Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration or a related field is required; Master’s degree is preferred. Competitive salary DOQ.
