Description:

Placer County is recruiting for the position of Client Services Program Manager (Utilization Review/Quality Assurance Program Manager).

This position will be responsible for the Quality Assurance oversight in multiple programs within both the Adult and Children’s Systems of Care, including mental health services, in-home supportive services, alcohol and drug services, and child welfare services. Duties will include ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations through implementations of various internal audits and reviews, review and analyze data through committees, preparation and coordination of external reviews and the implementation and oversight of the Systems of Care Quality Assurance Plan. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong knowledge and skill base in Title 9, Title 22 and Specialty Mental Health Contract oversight and possess direct work experience performing Quality Assurance activities.

Qualifications:

Experience:
Five years of increasingly responsible clinical and/or administrative experience in a health or human services agency, including at least two years of supervisory responsibility; or, when assigned to the Human Services Call Center, five years of experience in a call center, including two years of experience with a public assistance, social services, human services, medical or health-related call center that would provide an opportunity to possess expertise with telecommunications industry systems, standards and trends; and, at least two years of supervisory responsibility.

Training:

Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Designated positions may require major course work in specified and concentrated areas of study.

Please note that this position prefers possession of a valid license, or license eligibility, by the State of California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Registered Nurse, or valid license, or registration by the California Board of Psychology as a Psychologist.
