Annual salary range: $115,000 – $139,000

Description:

Sierra County (pop. 3,000) is located just north of Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. This is a small, unified trial court served by two judges, one part-time child support commissioner, and five permanent, full-time employees as well as several contract specialists.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will be approachable, experienced, working managers familiar with court administration. The ability to work collaboratively with staff and stakeholders, including county departments, public safety interests, and community groups is expected. This role requires technical and financial expertise, creative ability, resourcefulness and discriminating judgment. The next CEO will possess exceptional management, interpersonal and communication skills; a ‘roll up your sleeves’ attitude; and, be a transparent team player who is committed to personnel training, mentoring/coaching and performance review. Any combination of training and experience which would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
