Description:

The Department of Health Services is seeking a skilled and visionary leader as their next Departmental Accounting Manager.

The Departmental Accounting Manager reports to the Department Administrative Services Director and provides oversight of the finance and budget operations within the Department. The incumbent is responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and projecting; monitoring of revenues and expenditures; assuring the quality and accuracy of accounting and financial support services and documents; and managing and coordinating the preparation of the annual budget, including mid-year and 3rd quarter financial reporting.

Qualifications:

Qualifications normally include a CPA Cert., or related degree, AND 4 yrs. prof. exp. in governmental accounting (with one yr. at a supervisory level).
