Description:

Deputy County Counsels provide a full range of transactional and litigation legal services to assigned departments, commissions, school districts, special districts, or other public agencies. They represent clients in proceedings before courts, boards, arbitrators, and other administrative agencies, and provide legal advice on a wide variety of legal issues related to public agencies.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION: A Juris Doctor from an accredited law school or other equivalent legal education approved by the California State Bar; AND

LICENSE: Active membership in the California State Bar Association is required; AND

EXPERIENCE: varies depending on level.
