Monthly Salary Range $ 8,666.94 – $ 10,533.96

Description:

The Central Sierra Child Support Agency is currently recruiting qualified candidates to fill a newly created Deputy Director position. The Central Sierra Child Support Agency is a regionalized child support agency serving Alpine, Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumne counties through a joint powers agreement among the four counties. The primary worksite for this position will be in the Jackson office. This position will be supervised by the Executive Director/Chief Child Support Attorney.

Qualifications:

License Required: Candidates must possess and maintain throughout the duration of employment a valid California Motor Vehicle Operator’s License. Out of state valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s license will be accepted during the application’s process.

Registration: Active membership in the State Bar of California is helpful but not required.

Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree is preferred. However, appropriate job related experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. In addition, five years of increasingly responsible experience as an employee of, or working with a local or State child support program, performing duties pertaining to enforcement and collections processes, of which at least two years must include experience in a supervisory position
