$92,932 – $118,603 annually, DOQ, plus excellent benefits

Description:

PCWA is seeking an experienced individual to join the Agency’s Field Services Department’s leadership team as one of its Deputy Directors. The position will be responsible for planning and directing activities related to the delivery of water throughout the Agency’s water system, including pipeline and canal operation and maintenance, fleet operations and maintenance, and warehouse, purchasing and inventory functions. This position is a key interface with customers, stakeholders and the public and provides technical expertise for the integrity of the Agency’s water distribution system.

Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will have at least five years of increasingly responsible experience in the operation and maintenance of a water distribution and/or operations system, including two years of supervisory responsibility. Depending on assignment, either possession of a valid California State Water Resources Control Board Water Distribution Operators Certificate, Grade 5 is required upon appointment OR a valid California State Water Resources Control Board Water Distribution Operators Certificate, Grade 3 is required within two years of employment.
