Salary: 

$155,667 – $171,600 DOQ, including CalPERS retirement.

Description:

The Child Support Services Department, which operates from an office in north Novato, is a dynamic, innovative and successful agency composed of two divisions: Child Support Services and Enhanced Court Collections (ECC). With 31.62 FTEs and a budget of over $5 million, the mission of the Child Support Services Department is to establish and enforce child support orders and to serve the community through outreach and education.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Director of the Child Support Services Department will have five years of progressively responsible management experience in a child support enforcement program including long-range planning, budget preparation, and accounts receivable management experience. A typical combination of education and experience would be a bachelor’s degree in business or public administration and five (5) years of progressively responsible management experience in a child support enforcement program including long-range planning, budget preparation, and accounts receivable management.The Director is an at-will position, appointed by and serving at the pleasure of the Board of Supervisors.
