Salary: 

Annual Salary Range: $101,000 – $141,000

Description:

The Director of Community Services is responsible for the leadership and management of the Community Services Division including Parks & Recreation, Diamond Peak Ski Resort, Facilities, Beaches, Marketing, Championship and Mountain Golf Course facilities and programs.

The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Parks & Recreation Administration or related field; and, eight years directly related Parks & Recreation experience, including five years in a senior management role, with experience in long range planning, financial planning, development of new facilities and marketing of facilities in a public sector setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong candidates are committed to mentoring and staff development and they possess the interpersonal and communication skills necessary to successfully engage and interact with a wide variety of community stakeholders. The successful candidate has a track record of providing exceptional customer service and instilling that ethic in their staff.
