Salary:

$159,328.00 – $193,648.00 Annually

Description:

Under administrative direction, plans, organizes, manages, and provides direction and oversight for all functions and activities of the Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA); formulates departmental policies, goals, and directives; coordinates assigned activities with other County departments, officials, outside agencies, and the public; fosters cooperative working relationships among County departments and with intergovernmental, regulatory agencies, and various public and private groups; provides highly responsible and complex professional assistance to the Chief Administrative Officer, County departments, and Board of Supervisors in areas of expertise; and performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in public or business administration, public health, mental health, psychology, social services, social work, or a closely related field;

AND

Seven (7) years of increasingly responsible experience managing the delivery of public health, social services, mental health, or other social services related programs, which included program, budget, and personnel administration experience. Experience in the public sector is preferred.
