Description:

The County of Nevada, California, located in the scenic Sierra foothills, seeks a Director of Human Resources. Duties include planning, organizing and directing the County’s human resources services in the areas of recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, employee and labor relations, and providing expert professional assistance to the County Executive and Senior Executive staff in areas of responsibility.

Qualifications:

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in public or personnel administration or closely related field and five years of professional experience in personnel administration, with two years’ experience at a supervisory or management level. Master’s degree desirable.
