Salary:

$139,368 – $178,794 Annually, DOE

Description:

The Director, Information Systems is an executive management position in the Probation Department and reports to the Chief Probation Officer, County of Santa Clara. This position is responsible for the administration and management of the Probation Office’s information technology and information systems and services.

We are seeking an innovative and proactive leader to provide subject matter expertise to the following priorities:
• Ensure that Probation’s technology strategy and direction supports Executive Team’s current and planned Probation business initiatives.
• Ensures that current and advancing technologies align with the overarching Countywide Information Systems Department’s strategic plan.
• Influence and evolve Probation’s Information Technology Division culture into one that imparts collaboration, communication, trust and confidence.
• Innovator with ability to understand “big picture” and “details.”

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and abilities typically acquired through considerable education, training and experience equivalent to a BA in Computer Science, Public or Business Administration and 3 years recent experience managing information systems and technology functions in a mid-sized organization.
