Description:

The County of Lake is seeking an Electrical-Mechanical Technician I/II to join our Special Districts Administration team.  An ideal candidate will have experience performing skilled and semi-skilled electrical and mechanical work in the installation, maintenance and repair of water, sewer and wastewater treatment equipment and systems.

Qualifications:

E.M.T. I
Previous work experience performing skilled and semi-skilled electrical and mechanical work in installation, maintenance, and repair work on electrical and mechanical water, sewer, and wastewater treatment equipment and systems is necessary.

E.M.T. II
One year of experience performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled electrical and mechanical work in installation, maintenance, and repair work on electrical and mechanical water, sewer, and wastewater treatment equipment and systems at a level comparable to that of an Electrical – Mechanical Technician I with the County of Lake.
Special Requirements:

E.M.T. I
Possession of a California Grade D1 Distribution Operator Certificate must be obtained within 18 months of appointment.

E.M.T. II
Possession of California Grade D1 and D2 Distribution Operator Certificates.

E.M.T. I/II
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a California Driver’s License.  A Class A license may be required.
