Description
The County of Lake seeks an Emergency Services Manager to coordinate emergency preparedness, planning and response. The Lake County Office of Emergency Services is being transferred back to the Sheriff’s Office after being part of the County Administrative Office the last 3 years. The manager must have the ability to develop effective working relationships with county departments and other agencies in the Lake Operational Area and to effectively manage the emergency operations center in the event of an emergency.

Qualifications:

This position has a variety of qualifying patterns each requiring a combination of education and experience. In addition, possession of, or successful completion of, the following training courses is required within six (6) months from the date of employment:
National Incident Management System Training:
IS 100.b, IS 200.b, IS 700.a, IS 800.b
Federal Emergency Management Agency Professional Development Series:
IS 120.a, IS 230.c, IS 235.b, IS 240.a, IS 241.a, IS 242.a IS 244.b
