Salary:

III- $22.10-$26.86 per hour IV- $25.65-$31.19 per hour DOE

Description:

The Engineering Technician III/IV position at the Glenn County Planning and Public Works Agency performs a variety of technical engineering and surveying work involved in planning, design and construction of public works projects; provides technical staff assistance to higher level engineering staff; provides information to the public. The Engineering Technician IV position may represent the department before advisory committees.

Qualifications:

Experience:

III- Three years of recent engineering experience including at least two years at a level comparable to the Engineering Technician II; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

IV – Four years of recent engineering experience including at least two years at a level comparable to the Engineering Technician III; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Training:

III/IV – High school diploma or GED equivalent. Completion of an accredited two-year college curriculum in civil engineering or a related technical field can be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of two years.
