The Manager of the Environmental Health Division within the Department of Health & Human Services, plans, participates and manages the activities and operations of the division including food sanitation, solid waste and liquid waste management, recreational sanitation, hazardous waste, hazardous materials management, land use and vector control. This position reports to the Director of Health and Human Services and is a member of the department’s Management Team.

Qualifications:

Experience: Four years of increasingly responsible experience as an environmental health specialist.

Education: Equivalent to a Bachelors degree in biology, chemistry or a related field from an accredited college or university.

Certificate: Possession of an appropriate valid California Registered Environmental Health Specialist Certificate.

License: California drivers license.
