Description:

Calaveras County is seeking a skilled executive to provide leadership and overall administration of the Agency and carry out the objectives of the Board.

Qualifications:

The Ideal Candidate: Administrator will be articulate, collaborative and confident with a proven track record in environmental management. A knowledge of contemporary Agriculture and Animal Services functions and ability to provide proactive support to both internal and external customers is expected.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Registered Environmental Health Specialist with five years of professional level supervisory, administrative, executive or consulting experience. A strong knowledge of information gathering methods and analysis; budget preparation; and report writing techniques is expected.
Must possess a valid registration as an environmental health specialist.
