Salary:

$60,015 – $84,800

Description:

Under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Assistant serves as an integral member of the SDRMA team in Sacramento performing advanced clerical and administrative tasks, including:
• Ensuring the accuracy of meeting agendas, support materials, and minutes;
• Researching and processing documents; reviewing agreements, contracts, and resolutions for proper format, accuracy, and completeness;
• Coordinating business and record keeping functions for CEO/Board;
• Maintaining calendar of activities, meetings, and events for CEO/Board members;
• Preparing and/or assembling meeting materials;
• Coordinating, making, and confirming travel arrangements; and
• Assisting CEO in communication initiatives.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• Three years of increasingly responsible secretarial/office administrative support experience, including assisting management/executive personnel; experience in a local government, JPA, or local government association setting is desirable
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; a Bachelor’s Degree desirable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), and ability to work effectively with Board of Directors, staff, consultants and member agencies
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and assignments; work well under deadlines
• Be adept in proficiently using Microsoft Word and Excel software
• Be adept at updating web page content
