Description:

The Facility Services Manager reports to the Deputy Director of Internal Services and manages the activities of the Facility Services Division. The incumbent is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating divisional goals, programs, policies, and procedures. This is accomplished through consultation with the Director of Internal Services/Chief Information Officer, staff of County departments, and by directing subordinate staff responsible for carrying out activities essential to the day-to-day operations of the division.

Qualifications:

Education: Possession of a bachelor’s degree that is acceptable within the United States’ accredited college or university system.

Experience: Three (3) years of full-time, paid work experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity in the operation of facility maintenance in a commercial, industrial, or institutional setting.

OR

Three (3) years of full-time, paid work experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity in facility construction, alteration, and/or repair projects which included planning, budget analysis, and cost estimation in a commercial, industrial, or institutional setting.

License: Possession of a valid Class “C” driver’s license, or equivalent.

Note: As a condition of employment, selected candidates will be required to obtain and maintain security clearance to access Fresno County detention facilities.
