$100,089.60—$121,680.00 Annually

Description:

The Health and Human Services Agency Director plans, directs, and reviews the activities and operations of the Health and Human Services Agency and its subordinate divisions, including social services, community action, employment services, behavioral health, and public health. Coordinates the activities of the Agency with other County departments and outside agencies. Provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Board of Supervisors, the Community Action Partnership Board of Directors, and the Mental Health Advisory Board. May serve as the County Director of Mental Health pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code §.5600, the County Drug and Alcohol Administrator pursuant to § 11795 and § 11960 of Division 10.5 of the Health and Safety Code; the Director of Public Health pursuant to Title 17, Division1, Chapter 3 of the California Code of Regulations; and the Executive Director to the Colusa-Glenn-Trinity Community Action Partnership.

Qualifications:

Candidates with any combination equivalent to experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities may be considered.

-A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university with major course work in social service, business or public administration or a related field.

-Five years of increasingly responsible accounting/budgeting, job training and/or housing program experience, and/or eight years of increasingly responsible experience in Social Services work; plus three years of administrative and supervisory responsibility.
