Salary: 

$7,611 – 10,143 / Month

Description:

Under general direction, to recommend, promote and implement the goals, and countywide strategic plan to address homelessness. This position will establish and maintain a framework for activities in order to build a strong inter-jurisdictional coordination structure, align policies, promote systems integration and promote collaboration among public agencies, educational institutions, businesses and community groups; and to do other work as required.

Qualifications:

THE REQUIREMENTS: Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in public administration, business, finance, social sciences, or a related field. A Master’s degree in a related field is highly desirable.

AND

Five years of progressively responsible professional experience in public administration, including three years experience in the design and delivery of programs to address homelessness. A master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of professional experience.
